Novo Cube is the 10th release of the Utopius Omnibus, music based on the Utopius novella and related short stories.

Novo Cube

When the Novo Cube last encountered the First Ones, its power was a fraction of its current form. A virtual eternity of exile in the Dream Realm had since forged a near omnipotent being, whose power was rivaled only by its hunger to avenge its ouster.

It had waited eons, impatiently, for its opportunity and had nearly overlooked it when this tiny mind appeared before it. This meager creature that called itself The Shepherd was such a small thing that only it’s hubris was bright enough to warrant attention. This mist of an entity, an infant of consciousness, barely able to perceive the Dream Realm that it had barged into, was so full of self-righteousness.

The Novo Cube could see the Shepherd’s thoughts for his thoughts were all he was. A wafer of Mind, a self-described chief designer that had only recently caught a whiff of the true universe.

Ironically, this child believed he could harness this realm to subdue his own physical plane. Despite the obvious limitations, the Novo Cube could detect a hint of the First Ones in him. Was this their descendant or a creation? Had the First Ones fallen so far?

Whatever it was, one thing was clear, the Novo Cube had found its vessel home .
